Short Bio

Susik Yoon is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Korea University, where he leads the Data & Adaptive Intelligence Systems (DAIS) Lab. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and an assistant research professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He received his Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. from KAIST. His research interests span a wide range of topics in data science and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on continuous learning from unstructured and evolving data, using human knowledge and foundation models to realize adaptive intelligence systems.
